Eye On Crime LogoEye on Crime (Humber) showcases the initiatives around crime prevention and stronger and safer communities in the Humberside police force area. Presented by the BBC's Blair Jacobs and made with the support of Crimestoppers and Humberside Police, these online programmes aim to raise awareness and show how everyone can help keep their eye on crime.

Eye On Crime Programme 1


Blair Jacobs meets the team at EMPOWER to find out how they are supporting ex-offenders and helping them back into work. 
He meets Denise Farman of North East Lincolnshire WOMEN'S AID to discuss some of the issues around domestic abuse, the early warning signs and the support available to those who find abuse entering their relationship, and finds out about the experiences of a former user of legal highs and the issues around these psychoactive drugs.

PC Andy Allen gives advice on How to Protect your Home. And Humberside Police would like to speak to some local people viewers might recognise.

Blair visits the Charity WOMEN’S AID to find out about the support available after a call has been made reporting domestic abuse and speaks to Paul Welton, DCI for the Protecting Vulnerable People team. Also in this episode, the team from Humberside CRIMESTOPPERS talk about the difference their organisation has made in helping to reduce crime in the region and how viewers can report crime anonymously.

PC Andy Allen gives advice on how to protect yourself and your possessions on a night out, and Humberside Police would like to speak to some local people viewers might recognise.

Blair finds out about the affects of using a mobile phone at the wheel, and Neighbourhood Networks, the community group working together to build safer and stronger communities in Hull explain about their work.
