Contract and Commissioning Manager

Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside 

Salary: MP6 - £37,563 to £40,518

Based at The Lawns (Cottingham)

This is a new role for the OPCC to provide best practice contract management, a strong partnership approach to delivering best value services to the public and an entrepreneurialism to generate new programmes of work and source funding. Understanding of public sector contract management, audit and governance requirements will be required as well as an ability to demonstrate a fit with our values as an organisation.

This role will be part of the Finance function of the OPCC but will work across all areas of the organisation. Communication skills and building relationships with people both internally and externally will be important to the success of the role.

The post holder will be required to travel within the Humberside area and also work out of the main OPCC office based at The Lawns, Cottingham.  There is likely to be a degree of travel within the wider Yorkshire and Humber area in consideration of wider collaborative activity.

Criminal Justice Board Business Manager for Humberside

Hosted by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside 

Salary: MP7 - £32,778 to £35,457 pro-rata - part time 22.5hrs

Based at The Lawns (Cottingham)

This is an important role where you will be responsible for the coordination of the Criminal Justice Board operations for Humberside including managing the achievement of the Criminal Justice Board delivery plan.  Your role will involve supporting Senior Executives from member agencies to work more effectively together to secure a more efficient criminal justice system, caring for victims and witnesses of crime and improving public confidence. You will also be responsible for ensuring the priorities and targets from the National Criminal Justice Strategy and Action Plan are embedded into the local plan, and updates reported back to the National Criminal Justice Board.

Communication skills and building relationships with people both internally and externally will be important to the success of the role and you will be required to demonstrate a fit with our values as an organisation.
