Every year your Police and Crime Commissioner's office carries out a telephone survey of 500 residents across the Humberside Police Force area. We ask a variety of questions about policing, crime in their area, community safety, contacting the police, and most importantly, how confident people are in their local police to go a good job.
In the last survey (May 2016), 81% of residents surveyed said they were confident in the local police, compared with 83% at the same point the previous year. 18% said they were not confident in the local police, compared with 15% previously.
Your Police and Crime Commissioner uses this, and the wider information collected in the survey to provide feedback to Humberside Police on how residents are feeling and challenge the Force to make improvements where they are needed.
