The Commissioners Community Safety Fund has provided £3350 of funding  to Sutton on Hull Cricket Club for security measures on their premises.

The club have, in the past, been subject to Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) including people forcing their way into the club through fences.

From the Community Safety Fund, the club have been able to put up new fences around the picthes reducing the amount of ASB they have been subject to and have installed a key safe to make things more secure. They have been able to install new windows so that people can watch cricket, even in bad weather.

Although the funding has helped to make improvements, the club still wish to do more. Their aim is to increase the number of matches and teams using the facility and make it a social hub for the local cricket community.
