The Community Safety Fund can provide funding of between £500 and £35,000 towards projects that meet the scheme criteria and are led by voluntary and community sector organisations, social enterprises or town and parish councils.
To date, over £1.86m of funding has been committed through the Community Safety Fund to support projects that impact on crime and community safety at the local level, with further funding being made available to support the delivery of the Police and Crime Plan (2024-29) between 2025/26 and 2028/29. This will see an overall investment of £3.35m by the end of the plan period.
