The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Humberside is pleased to share a newly published evaluation report from the University of Hull, offering a detailed process review of the Crossroads intervention—an innovative approach to tackling domestic abuse and substance misuse.
Crossroads is designed to provide support and intervention for men who harm; supporting positive behaviour change and helping them to access tailored services and pathways to safety and recovery.
The evaluation, carried out by researchers at the University of Hull, explores how the programme has been implemented in Hull, examining its structure, delivery, and impact. It highlights key strengths, identifies areas for improvement, and offers practical recommendations to enhance future service provision.
This report reflects the OPCC’s commitment to evidence-based practice and working with local partners to ensure continuous improvement in preventing domestic abuse.
