We would thank our residents who took the time to complete our Police and Crime Plan survey last year. Hearing your voice is critically important to our work and these findings will help us shape our priorities over the next two years.
The survey had over 4,000 responses, which was the highest response rate in the past five years. Analysing the data we found your top five priorities to be:
- Burglary
- Dangerous driving
- Drug-related crime
- Nuisance Antisocial Behaviour (ASB)
- Knife/Weapon enabled violence.
Other key insights from the survey included:
- Nearly two-thirds of respondents were either confident or very confident in Humberside Police.
- Just over seven-in-ten of respondents perceived that levels of ASB had increased from the previous year
- 55% of respondents perceived that levels of crime had increased from the previous year.
