The Lawns, Cottingham

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) has a strong focus on employing people that best fit with the ethos and culture of our team and are looking for someone who will embrace our values of Ambition, Compassion, Enabling, and Integrity and Trust.

Are you experienced in managing administration in a busy office environment? Join the OPCC as an Assurance Administrator and help us measure and meet our objectives for compliance with legislative requirements including health and safety and data protection.

In this role, you will work alongside a dedicated team, supporting the design, development and implementation of our policies and procedures to demonstrate the effectiveness of our office.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accurate work. You don’t need to have lots of experience or knowledge about our work: We want the right person. We can easily give you the context of our working environment. We need the right skillset and values. That is our priority.

We do need someone to be confident working with a diverse team, with a pragmatic approach to their work and able to understand and challenge our ways of thinking.

In return, we offer a challenging but varied role in a family-friendly work environment with flexible working options, access to ongoing development and support. Further information on the OPCC including the benefits of working for us can be found on our website.

If you are interested in this exciting new role, you can get further information by contacting Mike Richmond, Compliance Manager (Michael.Richmond.8726@humberside.police.uk), to arrange an informal conversation.

Should you wish to apply you can do so by sending a covering letter and CV indicating what you think you could bring to the role and how you meet the requirements of the role profile. This should be sent by email to pcc@humberside.pnn.police.uk ). You should also complete the Monitoring Questionnaire and submit this with your application.

The closing date for this vacancy is Sunday 26th October, 12 noon, with interviews held on Thursday 6th and Monday 10th November.

All posts of the OPCC require staff to operate as ‘politically restricted’ and are subject to police vetting, for which you will need to have lived in the UK continuously for at least the last three years.
