Statutory Operations Manager for the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC), Humberside
Salary: SO1/2 £27,930 - £32,420 – Start scale point to be negotiated on offer
Based at The Lawns, Cottingham

Following a review of our structure this is a new role for the OPCC to provide the team with advice and maintain systems to ensure we adhere to relevant statutory guidance. This is a critical role to ensure that we operate with appropriate governance to our operations and meet transparency criteria in being accountable to the Police and Crime Panel and the public. The OPCC has a strong focus on employing people that best fit with the ethos and culture of our team and are looking for someone looking to join a team that can embrace our values.
We are looking for someone that is able to interpret complex information in the form of statutory and legal frameworks to provide support to the OPCC. Working in a public sector environment will be advantageous experience as well as work with a broad range of stakeholders.
This role will work directly to the Chief Executive for the OPCC and will involve developing relationships with all areas of the organisation. The role will also act as the Deputy Monitoring Officer for the Chief Executive. Communication skills and building relationships with people both internally and externally will be important to the success of the role.
The post holder will be required to travel within the Humberside area and also work out of the main OPCC office based at The Lawns, Cottingham.
