Kingston upon Hull

HullHere is the latest recorded crime data for the Hull City Council area for the 12 months ending March 2020, released by the Office of National Statistics on 17th July 2020.

Total recorded crime was 41,181. Compared to the previous 12 months this is a decrease of 5%.

Key increases and reductions in Hull:

Hull has seen a 1% increase in the number of violence against the person offences. Violence with injury went down by 2% and there was a 4% rise in the less serious 'violence without injury' category.

Robbery offences reduced by 16%. Reported sexual offences also decreased by 12% and overall theft offences registered a 14% decrease. Vehicle offences were down by 18% and reported burglary figures were down by 5%. Criminal damage and arson offences showed no increase.

Hull saw a decrease in the number of bicycle thefts (down 26%) and previous increases in shop theft continued to reverse with a 17% reduction.
