Kingston upon Hull

HullHere is the latest recorded crime data for the Hull City Council area for the 12 months ending September 2020, released by the Office of National Statistics on 3rd February 2021.

Total recorded crime was 38,549. Compared to the previous 12 months this is a decrease of 11%.

Key increases and reductions in Hull:

Hull has seen no increase in the number of violence against the person offences. Violence with injury went down by 6% and the less serious 'violence without injury' category increased slighly by 1%.

Robbery offences reduced by 7%. Reported sexual offences also decreased by 7% and overall theft offences registered a 28% decrease. Vehicle offences were down by 37% and reported burglary figures were down by 15%. Criminal damage and arson offences showed a 15% decrease.

Hull saw a decrease in the number of bicycle thefts (down 50%) and previous increases in shop theft continued to reverse with a 33% reduction.
