North East Lincolnshire

Here is the latest recorded crime data for the North East Lincolnshire Council area for the 12 months ending March 2023, released by the Office of National Statistics.

Total recorded crime was 18,137. Compared to the previous 12 months this is a decrease of 2%.

Key increases and reductions in North East Lincolnshire:

North East Lincolnshire has seen an 8%  decrease in the number of violence against the person offences. Violence with injury was down 9% and there was a 16% decrease in the less serious 'violence without injury' category. Stalking and Harrassment recorded a 1% increase.

There was a 4% decrease in reported sexual offences, robbery showed no increase compared to the previous 12 months. There has been a 14% overall increase in theft, burglaries were up at +22% and shop theft increased by 7%. Bicycle theft showed a 1% increase compared to the previous 12 months and vehicle offences showed an increase of 22%. Criminal damage and arson offences were down by 5%.
