North East Lincolnshire
Here is the latest recorded crime data for the North East Lincolnshire Council area for the 12 months ending June 2020, released by the Office of National Statistics on 15th October 2020.
Total recorded crime was 19,429. Compared to the previous 12 months this is a decrease of 7%.
Key increases and reductions in North East Lincolnshire:
North East Lincolnshire has seen a 6% decrease in the number of violence against the person offences. Violence with injury was down at -11% and there was a 6% reduction in the less serious 'violence without injury' category.
There was a 9% decrease in reported sexual offences and robbery also decreased by 14% with 29 fewer offences compared to the previous 12 months. There has been a 16% overall reduction in theft, burglaries were down at -5% and shop theft reduced by 29%. Bicycle theft was up 11% compared to the previous 12 months and vehicle offences showed a reduction of -8%. Criminal damage and arson offences were down by 3%.
