Here is the latest recorded crime data for the North East Lincolnshire Council area for the 12 months ending June 2018, released by the Office of National Statistics on 18th October 2018.
Total recorded crime was 19,019. Compared to the previous 12 months this is an increase of 8%.
Key increases and reductions in North East Lincolnshire:
North East Lincolnshire has seen an 8% increase in the number of violence against the person offences. Violence with injury was fairly stable at -1% and there was a 7% rise in the less serious 'violence without injury' category.
There was a 27% increase in reported sexual offences and robbery increased marginally with 4 more offences compared to the previous 12 months. There has been a 6% overall rise in theft, burglaries were considerably down at -14% but shop theft was up 17%. Bicycle theft was down 2% compared to the previous 12 months but vehicle offences were up 19%. Criminal damage and arson offences were up by 2%.
