Following the success of the Community Safety Fund (CSF) to date, Round 8 of the popular grants scheme has now been launched.
PCC Jonathan Evison said:
"The Community Safety Fund has been having a positive impact locally since its launch in May 2022 and I am pleased to make further funding available through a further round of the scheme.
I look forward to seeing a range of voluntary and community sector led projects that will continue to make a difference to community safety and crime reduction across the Humber.”
The CSF can provide funding of between £500 and £35,000 towards projects that meet the scheme criteria and are led by voluntary and community sector organisations, social enterprises or town and parish councils.
To date, the Community Safety Fund has awarded in excess of £2m of grant funding to support more than 180 projects that impact on crime and community safety at the local level.
This round is part of the PCC’s commitment to a further £1.6m of funding through the CSF to support delivery of the Police and Crime Plan (2024-29) between 2025-26 and 2028-29.
This will see an overall investment of £3.35m since the scheme was launched.
The deadline for applications for Round 8 is 13 May 2026 at 12:00 noon.
All potential applicants are encouraged to read the Application Guidance document before starting their application as some of the eligibility criteria has changed since previous rounds and some activities many no longer be eligible for funding support.
